Frenchie puppy (French bulldog)

I am painting this puppy for tomorrow as a grow-up. Unlike some dogs, this one doesn't really look that much different. Frenchies (French Bulldogs) appear to be born looking old. I have only met one once. He belonged to a lovely couple running a B&B and restaurant in an obscure village in deepest, darkest Dartmoor. I went there to meet up with my son and his girlfriend one February and struggled through snow-banked lanes, round iced-up hairpin bends and up hill and down dale. I was greeted by a bold,  black Frenchie. He was pretty small but strutted about with a surprising amount of swagger and general shoulders-back-puff-out-chest appearance. If I had one he would be called Napoleon.
